these are okay, nothing special. I like to make steak bombs loaded. these work if you line them with big slices of salami as a hinge. These are now available at my local store and I can check the quality and the price is similar; but the GFM is a great back up!

These are a great staple to keep in the freezer. We have used them for garlic bread (of course!), french bread pizzas, hot roast beef with au jus dip sandwiches. Great for fast dinners.

Schar buns of all kinds taste pretty good to me when toasted, but they go stale or moldy within a few days of opening the package - this is my only problem with their breads. They can have a strange sandyness to them at times and they get a weird soggyness in the package sometimes too, which might be from the humidity, I can't tell..I have only have the Baguettes one time but I recall them being much better than the Udi's Baguettes, which seem extra-sandy to me, and these did not have any soggy parts. They are sealed separately with a perforation between the two baguettes to keep them fresh, which I love since Schar breads go stale so quickly. This one is a winner!

Schar has done it again! These baguettes really fill that need when eating GF pasta! I keep them in the freezer until I need them and they toast up in the oven really nice.
