Shipping For Dry And Frozen Foods

The Gluten-Free Mall ships all orders from our warehouse location in Pennsylvania. Since we ship both dry and frozen food items, we have separate shipping policies for both types of orders, in addition to orders that combine dry and frozen items. Learn more about each policy below.

Dry Orders

Items starting with GFD (Gluten-Free Dry) are dry products that are shipped in a normal box with no temperature controls. Any orders consisting of dry products under $39 ship at a flat rate of $9 within the Continental U.S. Dry product orders over $39 ship for free!

Frozen Orders

The Gluten-Free Mall sells a large variety of frozen products. These items start with GFF (Gluten-Free Frozen). To maintain product integrity, all frozen orders are shipped in insulated cooler boxes with dry ice.

Frozen shipping is determined by the UPS transit time schedule and is designed to ensure that product arrives in excellent condition. To ensure the product remains solidly frozen, these shipments will not be allowed to sit idle over a weekend.

To maintain the integrity of frozen products while in transit, frozen orders shipping from our Pennsylvania warehouse must be delivered in a timely manner. As a result, shipping fees will vary by location. Please see the map below for shipping charges based on your location.

Combined Orders

To make your shopping experience as easy and efficient as possible, customers are able to place orders containing both dry and frozen items. Frozen and dry items will be shipped separately and according to the above processes. This means you may receive your dry items on a different day than your frozen items. Additionally, please note that only the dry product dollar totals will count towards the $39 needed for free shipping on dry products.

Additional Shipping Information

When placing your order, here are a few more things to keep in mind about shipping:

  • International Orders: Only dry products can be shipped internationally. These orders are shipped via the US Postal Service. Note that all items entering a foreign country are subject to customs inspections and assessment of duties, taxes and fees. Please be aware that your government may collect such fees from you and upon delivery. Should you refuse such fees, you will not be entitled to a refund.
  • Holiday Delivery: Due to variability in shipping and delivery schedules, it may be necessary to place orders up to 2 weeks in advance of a holiday. If you are concerned with receiving product by a specific date, please contact Customer Service to confirm delivery dates and availability.
  • Undeliverable Packages: If your order is returned to us as undeliverable, credit will only be given for the product amount. Shipping fees will not be refunded. If you would like to have your order reshipped to you, we reserve the right to charge you the shipping fees to redeliver your package.

How To Earn Reward Points

Everyone shopping on The Gluten-Free Mall is eligible to earn reward points! There are three ways you can earn points:


That’s right! Just by shopping at The Gluten-Free Mall, you can earn points to apply toward future purchases. Customers earn one (1) point for every $1 they spend, including on products that are discounted. Points are awarded based on pre-tax and pre-shipping subtotals.


You can earn reward points by sharing our site with a friend! When a friend that you refer places an order on our site, there will be a place in the checkout process (on the payment method page) where they can enter your email address as the person who referred them. Once they submit their order, your account will be awarded 50 points.

Product Reviews

We want to provide the most helpful shopping experience for our customers. Part of creating that helpful experience means hearing from you - the customer! You can earn reward points by sharing constructive feedback on the products you purchase.

Product reviews assist us in improving our offerings and services to provide you with the best options. Each thoughtful review will be awarded 10 points. To receive reward points, your reviews must be approved by The Gluten-Free Mall. With that in mind, we look for reviews that are:

  • Original and for products purchased from The Gluten-Free Mall
  • Concise and speaking directly to the quality of the product
  • Truthful with objective feedback that’s relevant to the product
  • Free of spam or advertising
