1-2-3 Gluten Free Kosher Buckwheat Pancake Mix

Allie's Awesome Buckwheat Pancakes Baking Mix
Buckwheat, in the rhubarb family, is a wonderful gluten-free alternative way to increase the fiber and protein in your diet. These light gluten-free pancakes have a delicious flavor and are named for my niece, Allie, who devours them. Kids and adults will have no idea they're eating something a little healthier. This gluten-free mix can also be used to make pumpkin pancakes, double chocolate chip pancakes, banana pancakes, and double chocolate chip pancakes. Yields 20 large pancakes.

Ingredients - rice flour, buckwheat flour, tapioca starch, brown rice flour, sugar, baking soda, aluminum-free corn-free baking powder (sodium acid pyrophosphate, baking soda, tapioca starch, monocalcium phosphate), salt, niacin (Vitamin B3), reduced iron, calcium carbonate, thiamin mononitrate (Vitamin B1), folic acid (Vitamin B9), riboflavin (Vitamin B2)

Very easy to make and delicious!!! They do not taste like they are gluten free! You can add blueberries or apple slices to them as well and they are just as good as regular pancakes!

These pancakes were only okay. I made them very thin by adding extra water, and also add blueberries or bananas. I replaced the milk during the holiday season with soy nog, and they were much better. I might consider adding some sugar if using plain soy milk. Overall they were only okay.

I don't understand the 5-star reviews for this. These pancakes were heavy, bitter-tasting, and generally nasty. And way overpriced, as are most gluten-free foods. I am still looking for a truly good-tasting gluten-free pancake mix.

I have tried other boxes of pancake mixes and this is by far the best. My children are very picky and they both asked for seconds and even asked for them the next morning.

These are absolutely awesome! I was beside myself thinking I wouldn't be able to eat pancakes anymore being gluten-free. I am so happy I found this brand. My family who aren't Celiac even think they taste great.
