Directions: Sort and rinse. Bring 2 cups water and 1 cup lentils to boil, reduce, and simmer for 15-20 minutes, or until tender. Drain and serve.
Red lentils are common in Indian cuisine, cooked with ginger and traditional spices for curry and dal.
