SHILOH FARMS Himalayan Pink Salt comes from the foothills of the Himalayas, where the high mineral and iron content results in beautifully hued crystals ranging in color from soft white to rosy pink and deep red. Believed to be the purest form of salt available, pink salt's lovely coloring, subtle crunch, and incomparable taste will delight your senses! 

Unrefined and additive free, every effort has been made to maintain this rare and extraordinary salt's natural purity. A valuable commodity for centuries, Himalayan Pink Salt is still hand-mined from ancient sea salt deposits without the use of any mechanical devices or explosives. After extraction, the salt is then hand-crushed, hand-washed, and sun-dried.  

Pink salt is a wonderful option for cooking and baking and may be used in much the same manner as regular table salt. However, while slightly less salty than regular table salt, pink salt does have a stronger, mineral-rich flavor, so you may be able to use less.

Regular consumption of Himalayan Pink Salt provides essential minerals and trace elements, balances electrolytes and pH levels, and supports proper absorption of nutrients. Externally, pink salt can be added to cosmetics and therapeutic applications used to stimulate circulation, relax the body, and sooth sore muscles.

Suggested Uses: 
1. Process in a small spice grinder for use as an everyday table salt.
2. Sprinkle over roasted vegetables or grilled meats for a crunchy, salty finish.
3. Add to brines, pickling solutions, or salt rubs.
4. Season soups, stews, vegetable dishes, or pasta.
5. Give sweets a touch of savory: add to caramels, brittles, or chocolate bark.
6. Think outside the kitchen and make homemade bath salts, body scrubs, and soaps.
