Pie arrived still frozen even after a three day journey. Wasn't a fan of the taste, though the pastry was okay.
The only thing that was the least bit tasty was the crust. There was only a disk of crust laying on the foil pan – no other crust at all. I bought 2 of them and the second one had mostly potatoes and both had very little chicken in it. The peas in both were terrible! The chicken, carrots and sauce had very little taste. It doesn't even look like the picture on the box. I won’t buy this again.
Not bad for a gluten free pot pie. I would eat it again. It does not look like picture on the box, but the crust was still pretty good.
The inside of this pot pie was standard filling for a pot pie. The outside doesn't look like the photo - instead, it was an off-center disc that cracked in half. It didn't brown much in the oven, so it wasn't very pretty. But then I bit into it. Wow! The most savory, buttery puff pastry I've tried since going GF. I also love their Franks in a blanket (not their cheeseburger bites though). I plan to use their puff Pastry sheets to make Beef Wellington.
This product was a HUGE disappointment. The sauce had the consistency of water. The crust looked nothing like the picture on the box and never had anything close to a flaky consistency. But most disappointing of all was the contents. There was literally 1 piece of chicken. There were a few peas. But the rest was carrots and potatoes. If there was a way to get my money back, I would certainly try.
