Their Story:
Tryg, the chef at a restaurant where I worked, wondered why I never ate the food he prepared for the staff. I explained that I had celiac disease and had to avoid gluten. The following day, Tryg prepared a meal made entirely from gluten free ingredients; it was delicious! That was our start. Today, now married, Tryg and I have recreated some of my favorites from our own kitchen and I can finally eat with confidence. We hope you enjoy these dishes as much as we do. Tryg’s love for cooking, coupled with my love for GF food inspired us to create Feel Good Foods.

Consistently shake the pan to make sure dumplings don't stick. Dumplings will be steamed approx 10-12 minutes or once most of the water has evaporated.
Pan Fry: Once the steam is complete, leave dumplings in the non-stick pan until the water completely evaporates or until skin becomes golden brown.
DIPPING SAUCE: Leave at room temperature until thawed.

Dumplings were my favorite thing to order until my tolerance declined. I hadn't had them in years until I tried these. It's like I ordered from the restaurant. So yummy, even the sauce that comes with them. My mother and I thoroughly enjoyed them.
I tried the dumplings one day after cooking them (I am a big fan of cold chinese food) and even after a bad first experience, I saw the leftovers sitting in the fridge. Lo and behold, I needed to give them another try based on the other reviews. SO I gave them a try COLD for lunch! The clay, slimy taste was gone. The texture (though chewy, but so are the originals) was gone and you can really taste the delicious filling that I could not taste over the outer dough last night. Cold, they taste very much like the non gluten-free item. I still will never taste them again when they are first cooked, but I will cook them as directed the day before and eat them the next day. I am thrilled I did not waste my money after all.
The taste on the inside of these dumplings was great. The dough was a little slimy and that did not make for a good meal for my daughter. I tried them and agree that the dough, cooked exactly per instructions, was kind of slimy. If you can get past that part and not let it bother you, it's actually a good tasting asian dumpling.
This time, instead of following the directions on the package I decided to fry them in oil instead. This is how I usually do it and I get better results. It worked out much better for me and I didn't have any issues with gummy texture. The pork to me tastes much better than the chicken and I enjoy the sauce better than just using regular Shoyu sauce.
I was really excited when I found these, as pot-stickers were one of my favorite Chinese dishes prior to going gluten free. The flavor of these was really good (although I didn't care for the packaged dipping sauce included), but even following the cooking directions exactly I found the texture of the wrappers to be a little gluey for my tastes. I have other flavors of these in the freezer as well, so I may experiment a bit with the cooking technique to see if the gummy outside can be improved. But even with that said, these are far better than no option at all for home cooked Chinese convenience food.
