The Shiloh Farms Fonio is a little-known African super-grain that is rich in protein and essential amino acids. With its light, slightly nutty flavor, Fonio is delicious in salads, stews and side dishes. Pearled and parboiled, it's ready to serve in just 6 minutes!
To Cook: Add 1 cup water to 1/2 cup Fonio and bring to a boil. Cover and simmer for 1 minute. Remove from heat and let stand covered for 4 minutes. Uncover and fluff gently with a fork.
